Easy Homeschool Lunch Idea: Mini Naan Pizza Hack Kids Love (10/10 Recipe!)
🍕 Homeschool Pizza Day Lunch – A 10/10 from the Kids!
Today, we decided to take a break from our usual homeschool routine and have a fun Pizza Day lunch! It’s one of those easy, hands-on meals that doubles as a little cooking lesson for the boys, and of course, everyone loves pizza!
We gathered all our ingredients and turned our kitchen into a mini pizzeria. Here’s what we used:
🛒 Ingredients & Brands
Stonefire Naan Rounds (Original) – perfect little crusts for individual pizzas.
Gourmet Garden Basil Paste – adds that fresh, herby kick without chopping.
Badia Granulated Garlic – because garlic makes everything better.
Trader Joe’s Onion Powder and Organic Tomato Basil Marinara – a sprinkle of extra flavor and rich and flavorful, perfect base sauce.
Aidells Italian Style Chicken Sausage – sliced and sautéed before topping. I purchased at H-E-B.
Sharp Cheddar Cheese – melty, golden perfection.
Yellow Onion – thinly sliced for sweetness and texture.
🍳 How We Made Them
Each child had their own apron on and naan round ready, turning lunch into a mini homeschool cooking class! 👩🍳
Prep: Everyone started with their own naan round, placed neatly on a cutting board. Personal pizzas make it so much more fun!
Sauce: We spread a generous layer of Trader Joes tomato basil marinara and added a few flavorful dots of Gourmet Garden Basil Paste.
Season: A sprinkle of Badia granulated garlic and Trader Joe’s onion powder gave it that perfect savory aroma.
Toppings: The boys layered on sliced Aidells Italian-style chicken sausage and thin strips of yellow onion customizing their pizzas exactly how they liked them.
Cheese: Then came everyone’s favorite part topping it all with sharp cheddar cheese (because cheese = happiness 🧀).
Bake: We popped them in the oven at 400°F for about 10 minutes, until the edges were crispy, the cheese perfectly melted, and the kitchen smelled amazing.
🍕 The Verdict
The pizzas came out absolutely delicious! Crispy edges, cheesy centers, and a little kick from the sausage. The kids gave it a solid 10/10, and honestly… I’d have to agree! 😋
This quick lunch idea is perfect for homeschool families minimal prep, lots of fun, and a tasty way to spend time together in the kitchen.
